What am I doing wrong?

Hello

I am struggling with the IV Drain bag. I've read the istructions over and over and still cannot get the IV fluids out of the arm. How can I troubleshoot this, must the black box be turned on? HELP:confused:

Hi Mary
Do you have a drain bag connected to the IV drain coming out of the black box? A common error is utilizing IV tubing that has a one way or a "check valve, or port" in the tubing. If this is the case, fluid will not drain into the IV drain bag. You should be using straight tubing with no ports or valves in it.

I have not been on this forum for awhile, I will try tubing without valves and ports, thanks so much:)!
