I have a problem with the Quick Look on the pads of the ECS. When I put my defibpads on the ECS pads I just get a flat line. I allready checked the connections/wires inside but can't find the reason of my problem. Who is reconize this problem and can help me to solve this problem.

what monitor are you using for your simulator? In the past I have found that you have to ensure that the monitor itself is switched to paddles in order for this to accurately work. Please let me know what monitor you are using, and I can likely help you further

Thanks

Dear Kevin,

We are using the defibrillator Philips Heartstart XL. It always starts with the paddle look. I ensured myself that the defib switched to paddles. So, there have to be another problem.

Thanks, Roelie

Could you also please try the three lead ecg? Does it work on the terminals?

I allready did. With the tree lead ecg is no problem. I also tried another defibrillator but still a flat line with the paddle look. I have no problem with it when I put the paddles on another mannikin or person. So it's seems that there is a problem with the pads on the ECS or there is a problem inside the ECS.

thanks, Roelie
