How are we supposed to be informed about updates to the MeTiVision software? Through the website? The forum? Or through email? I found updates to MeTiVision via the newly launched MyMeti (so kudos to MyMeti)

As a customer I'm confused as to how we why we have spent a week troubleshooting and trying to fix problems that may have been sorted with an update that we didn't get to hear about.

Do other customers experience the same thing?

Pete,
Sorry for the delay in responding. I had missed your post.

When we release a new version of METIVision, customer support is supposed to email the users to let them know that it’s available. Would you check to see if you have now been notified. If not, please let me know and I will look into it.

Thanks,
Judy Johnson-Russell Ed.D., RN

Hallo Judy, I have not been notified, it is possible that the emails have gone to someone who's address is on the financial documentation rather than the poor infantry (me!)

It would be very helpful and useful if I could be made our point of contact for software updates

Thanks

(Email available through link in signature, tiny bit wary of posting addresses on forums)

Thanks for the feedback. I have another question at this time...Our IT department intends to link MetiVision to two CPUs (We have two manikins, one in each of two rooms). They plan to use those CPUs to display monitor physiology for the students and provide capability for the instructor to stop a scenario and use an 'instant replay' approach. They maintain that I will be able to control the cameras with the MAC I use to run my scenario. My reading of the manual is that there should be a separate CPU to control the cameras and link to METIVision. So, I guess my question is: does MetiVision require an additional CPU to run the cameras, or is that truly a function that can be delegated to the Mac running the scenario? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I do not wish to void our warranty or service agreement by using the Mac for anything other than that which was intended.
