Hello everyone,

What is the best way to simulate chest tube draining? I want to set up a really good scenario...

Thanks!

Greetings!
What type of scenario are you wanting to set up? The chest tube can drain to gravity, I have set up a couple of decent ones (trauma and resp disease). Let me know!

I'm going to use the gravity feed...I was just wondering how you set up the chest fluid inside the manikin....this is for trauma training

Thanks!

Good Morning Dan,

As you have an ECS -

The set up - if you visit , the downloads section of part of my METI you will find the ECS User Guide , if you go to page 232 there are instructions that are very user friendly to assist you with priming the system and what equipment you need - page 261 runs through the breakdown system. I hope this assists you ,

best wishes,

Amanda
