Does anyone know if I can manaully change a blood pressure to match a scenario that I recieved from a physican. She wants the monitor to read the same blood pressure that she has written in her scenarion when I am in the baseline stage. I am new to this and I don't have any idea if this is even possible.
Thanks,

The answer is yes, sort of, ish, with a but
What most people do when confronted by the scenario editor or software is say "set systolic to...", "set HR to ..." This doesn't work because of the network of dependencies that run in the background generating these parameters, it's like moving switches on a mixing deck, turn up the bass and you can't hear the vocals and the song is "broken"
You can alter the starting blood pressures of a patient, effectively creating a new patient.
You can alter cardiovascular parameters as part of the Baseline state in the scenario player and use the standard patient
Private Message me your email address or email me from the contact in my sig and I'll explain properly as I appear to be babbling!

We have several Patients with various BP's. You can try overlaying the scenario over these other patients. You can adjust the BP quickly by adding or removing volume as well, although this affects the physiology overall.
Contact Support or Education to get a quick guide or "cheet sheet" on how to change common parameters quickly.

Many people with high blood pressure measure their blood pressure at home, in between visits to their doctor or nurse. Some people may also be asked by their doctor or nurse to take measurements at home for a short period of time to find out whether they have high blood pressure or not. Measuring your blood pressure needs to give accurate readings if it is to be worthwhile.
