Hallo,

quick and easy question

What is the simulated blood volume of U.A.P?

Textbook values would have it at about 70ml/kg, making U.A.P about 5.4litres

Thanks

PETE

In order to better answer your question, please define what you are seeking. What do you mean UAP? After clarifying what information you are seeking, I can ensure to pass on the correct information.

Kevin,

thanks for the reply

Does that mean that changing a patients weight changes their simulated blood volume?

i.e does altering Standard Man from 70kg to 90kg change the simulated blood volume from 4900ml to 6300ml?

Thanks

Great question-no it does not change the simulated volume- only difference is drug metabolism
