Ventilator with HPS

We have been trying to use our ventilator without success. Are there specific settings that must be used? Does it matter assist control or pressure control? Are there any specific settings that must be set on the mannequin before it will run correctly? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i am not expert but how did you use the ventilator to HPS? if you use the assist or pressure control you must must check your mannequin or go to neuromuscular blockage. check also by using your ambu bag ventilation if it is work then it could work also from ur ventilator. i hope this will help if not we will try some other way or maybe somebody expert on how to use it to ventilator.

The HPS is designed to work with a vent. The only adjustment that is required is when using PEEP on your vent, set the same value of PEEP in the software.
Start off by setting a 100% FNB in the software and set up your vent with a TV of over 500, RR somewhere around 11.
The HPS also supports assisted breathing as well.
