We are experiencing some abnormalities on the ECG tracing on the waveform monitor on ECS and HPS. The QRS complex is dropped ocasionally and we just have a run of P waves. This is very distessful to some of our faculty. I am not sure if this is a common occurence with the software or if we have a problem somewhere that I can correct. Any suggestions

Abnormalities in the tracing is something METI has been working on for awhile now. I believe we may see some progress in this area soon.

I have created a modified drug list and renamed it "modified drug list". How do I make it the active list instead of HPS using the "default"?

A simplified device and method for continuous ECG monitoring incorporates electrodes in a pulse oximeter finger probe and/or in a blood pressure cuff. The electrodes in the pulse oximeter and blood pressure cuff generate a continuous ECG tracing without the use of disposable electrodes connected to multiple electrical wires in an ECG harness. In another embodiment, simplified ECG monitoring system can act as a secondary ECG input to a system that uses a primary ECG input as well.
