there could be some potentially fatal risks for using general anesthesia.
Anyone here had a surgery with anesthesia? How does it feel when the anesthesia is taking effect? Were there any after effects? Lastly, would you prefer local or general anesthesia for a hand operation?

I personally have gone the general route as I had my Appendix removed and three neck surgeries. I had consious sedation done for one surgery and that is another route where you are awake and you don't remember as it depletes the short term memory. Good Luck on your choice I would find out information on the Physician who is administering the medication. If they quack like a duck then they are a quack... Good luck!!!

Many operations are performed under general anesthesia, which can by potentially dangerous or fatal if proper precautions has been not taken care of.
