I have been working (on maintenance) with the HPS since march this year, so I'm relatively new and I hope for your patience with me. I already read some threads about the subject I have a question about, but I would like to make sure I understand well.

If I have the rack off and the air-hose plugged in I hear a soft gasstream in the chest. I assume it is caused by one or more leaks but since it is hard to locate I would like to double-check that it isn't normal behavior.

Thanks already,

Camiel

Camiel,

The air that you are hearing when it is plugged into the back of the rack is coming from bleeder valves, so there is a place for the air to escape.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your reaction. But I checked these valves (two relatively long tubes that run inderectly from the lungs towards the abdomen) and those are not the cause of the sound. It's seems to come from deep in the backside of the chest...

If the air leak appears not to be related to the bleeding ports, contact customer support so they can assist you in determining the problem
