Does anyone have a suggestion of how close to place the METI Vision Microphhone to the work area. We're configured as an OR for anesthesia students and therefore mainly need to record activities at the HOB. I'm not sure if ceiling or wall placement will be close enough. we're in the prcess of installing this but I'd like to hear from anyone with ideas.

Thanks

Gil

Ceiling mounted microphones never worked for us. Wall mounted mics are usually better since they are much closer to the participants. Hth...

UoB were unhappy about the quality and placement of the mics built into the metivision cameras (I'd venture to suggest they were not alone)

The solution was to purchase radio mics and to plug these into the cameras as external mics, the beauty of this solution was that it allowed UoB to have precise placement of the microphones, and to choose which type of microphone (directional, field etc) would be in which location. It also dramatically improved the quality of recorded sound, particularly when it came to extracting and editing the video/audio.

Apologies for the delay in replying, have changed job and country.
