Does anyone know how to enhance the dicrotic notch. The monitoring is not very good because you can not see the dicrotic notch on the monitor. Thanks in advance...:rolleyes:

Dear Scott,
The waveform display that accompanies the ECS is a waveform display and is an emulator - as a result the shape is esssentially fixed - this may sound a little obvoius have you tried colour changing - yellow is better for visuals. Also in real life there are times that you cannot see the Diacrnotic issue due to the patinet's art line and aslo it can relate to low BP if so you would advise a manual BP check so you could add this in to your teaching - best wishes, Amanda :o
